What does it take to become a commercial pilot? I am sure you have to be some of the best and brightest. They are obviously competent and driven to some degree. They have had to study and fly thousands of hours. So in a sense commercial pilots have been proven to be superbly trained and studied… they are ready to fly and do so millions of miles a year… and yet they are put through a check ride twice a year.
What is a check ride? It helps determine if a pilot has maybe drifted off into some bad habits. These are not habits that they choose to make… “uh I should fall asleep while driving 300 people through the air at 600 miles an hour at 40,000 feet…
These are habits that slowly creep into their daily flight life. They are the slow drip drip drip of mediocrity that ultimately muddies up the water and clouds your vision. Look even the most superbly trained pilot can fall victim of bad habits so they must be checked constantly for their entire life as a pilot.
WHY? so they are good? so they can say they pass the test? so they can keep flying? so they feel better about themselves? NO! simply for this reason - to save lives. To keep alive people from becoming dead people.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test.
“For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone” (vv. 3–4)
Now here is the big switch…
Examine how your life was before Christ as it is compared to now. Be thankful, rejoice in your progress, don’t get down on yourself but rather remember what is most important… you are a work in progress and God is not finished with you yet.
Phil. 1:6 Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
If you are like me you typically read the first verses I read in a very negative way… but put them into perspective with Phil. 1:6
We are making headway… God is not finished with us yet… there are even greater things to come out of our life as we continue to serve him and take the occasional test run.
Interestingly enough when a pilot is finished with his check ride he is almost always inspired to do better. He sees what he does well and he also sees where he can improve. See the critical key is they don’t just test you to see what you do poorly on - they also point out what you do well in.

2 We found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, went on board and set sail. 3 After sighting Cyprus and passing to the south of it, we sailed on to Syria. We landed at Tyre, where our ship was to unload its cargo. 4 We sought out the disciples there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.

10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”
12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”
A couple of observations…
- In todays world we typically think if the Holy Spirit is going to speak to us it will be good news. But here we are challenged to understand that the Holy Spirit is speaking prophetically to Paul and telling him it is not going to be easy. You will face extreme trials.
Would you be willing to hear a word from someone (a word from the Lord) if it did not mesh with your goals, desires… simply if it was not speaking of what you think is what’s best for you?
What a goal for all of us - to be willing to hear all that God has for us, good bad or otherwise.
If this shows anything to us it is that we need to have the heart that Paul has… willing to go anywhere God calls us to go.
Here is another thought… would you be willing to speak the truth to a person even if it was a chilling and difficult word to be spoken. Ok, so maybe I am not even considering it a “word from God” - maybe it is just a word of concern to a person who needs to be confronted with the truth.
But even more so if it is a word from God and it was not a positive word- would you speak it.
Here are reasons you may not:
- what if it doesn’t come true
- what if it does come true, they may blame you for speaking it into existence.
- what if you offend them and they strike back
- what if they think you are nuts and spread lies about you
- what if it they choose to not follow God in an effort to not have this word happen… and you have to live with the guilt of them not continuing to live for God.
A few years back I was in my car and I saw a young father whom I knew out on the street… the time of day, the manner in which he was traveling etc… was iffy… God spoke to me and said stop and get his attention and tell him if he does not change his ways he will be dead before the year is over. Heavy word… I pulled over, told him, he nodded as if to say “you are right”. I told him I loved him and drove away. during that year his wife left him, took their daughter and was was living on the street for a while… but he changed.
it was not an easy word to share.
Here is my final takeaway…
Are you seeking out spiritual company that pushes your buttons? Do you have friends that will speak into your life- even things you may not want to hear? Do you even have those types of friends.
See the truth is that so much of this story really depends on the fact that the Apostle Paul was willing to subject himself to other believers who were of the character and conviction to be willing to speak into his life.
Do you have these types of friends? if not, find some. Switch churches if you have to, but find them. Take time to be with them and hang with them and allow them into your life.

“MAN
An important reason why there must be a literal millennial kingdom is to once and for all demonstrate the true nature of man. God’s Word clearly teaches that man is sinful both by nature and by practice. The millennial kingdom will be the final, conclusive proof of this fact.
Satan will be bound for one thousand years while the Lord Jesus will be personally present to rule and reign on the restored earth. Yet the Bible teaches that in spite of these perfect conditions, a host of people who are born and raised during this time will reject the Lord in their hearts. They will outwardly conform to avoid the Lord’s swift judgment, but inwardly they will harbor a rebellious heart against the King of kings.
“THE MILLENNIUM WILL BE UNIQUE BECAUSE OF WHO IS THERE”
“The Millennium will be inhabited at the outset by two groups of believers.
- Group 1 will be believers who have survived the tribulation period on earth. These people will enter the kingdom in their natural, physical bodies. They will live in houses, do work, marry, have children, and possibly die (see below), just as people have done since the beginning (Isaiah 65:17–25). They will still possess the sinful nature, therefore they will sin during the Millennium, despite the fact that the devil is not there to tempt them (though sin will be dealt with swiftly—see below).
- Group 2 will be made up of believers who either died or were raptured before the Tribulation. They will already have their new, glorified bodies. They will not have the sinful nature and thus will not sin. This group of the redeemed will rule with Christ during the millennial kingdom.”
It is possible that Group 2 will rule over Group 1.

The Millennium is proof positive that man’s heart is black with sin. It proves for all time that Christ’s death on the Cross is absolutely necessary for man’s salvation. The thousand-year reign of Christ provides overwhelming evidence that we must have a righteousness outside ourselves to come into relationship with a holy God. “The righteousness that we need is the very righteousness of Jesus Christ. God credits that righteousness to all who receive His Son by faith (see 2 Corinthians 5:21).”

“WHAT IS THE MILLENNIUM?
The main Bible passage that specifically talks about this thousand-year kingdom is Revelation 20:1–7
Here are some New Testament names and titles for the millennium:
1. The kingdom of heaven (Matthew 3:2; 8:11).
2. The kingdom of God (Mark 1:14).
3. The Kingdom (Matthew 19:28).
4. A kingdom which cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28).
5. The world to come (Hebrews 2:5).
6. Times of refreshing (Acts 3:19).
7. The period of restoration of all things (Acts 3:21).”

During the millennial reign of Christ, the earth will experience a return to conditions like the Garden of Eden. It will literally be heaven on earth as the Lord of heaven comes to live on earth among His people.

“JOY
When Isaac Watts wrote the song “Joy to the World,” he did not write it to be a Christmas ” “carol. Rather, he penned it to announce the glorious second coming of Christ to rule and reign on this earth.
Think of some of the words: “Joy to the world! The Lord is come; Let earth receive her king.… No more let sins and sorrows grow.… He rules the world with truth and grace.”
This is a song of the Millennium—when full joy will finally come to the world (Isaiah 9:3–4; 12:3–6; 14:7–8; 25:8–9; 30:29; 42:1; Jeremiah 30:18–19; Zephaniah 3:14–17; Zechariah 8:18–19; 10:6–7).
HOLINESS
The word holy means to be set apart to God for sacred purposes. The kingdom of Christ will be a holy kingdom. The land, the city, the temple, and the subjects will all be holy unto the Lord (Isaiah 4:3–4; 29:19; 35:8; ” “52:1; Ezekiel 43:7–12; 45:1; Zechariah 8:3; 14:20–21).
GLORY
The luminous glory of God will be fully unleashed in Messiah’s kingdom (Isaiah 35:2; 40:5; 60:1–9; Ezekiel 43:1–5).
JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
When the millennial kingdom begins, it will be inhabited only by believers. However, these believers will still have human bodies with a fallen nature capable of sinning.
Man will still sin, but that sin will be judged in perfect justice at the hands of the Messiah (Isaiah 9:7; 11:5; 32:16; 42:1–4; 65:21–23). He will rule with “a rod of iron,” restraining and judging sin, so that the prevailing atmosphere in the kingdom will be righteousness (Isaiah 11:1–5; 60:21; Jeremiah 31:23; Ezekiel 37:23–24; Zephaniah 3:1, 13).
DEEPER KNOWLEDGE
The teaching ministry of the Lord and the indwelling Holy Spirit will bring the subjects of the kingdom into a superior knowledge of the Lord’s ways (Isaiah 11:1–2, 9; 41:19–20; 54:13; Jeremiah 31:33–34; Habakkuk 2:14).
NO SICKNESS OR DEFORMITY
Our politicians are constantly working on plans to provide better health care for the citizens of our nation. But in the Lord’s government, the health plan will be fantastic. The King will be a healer, too. He will heal all the diseases and deformities of His people (Isaiah 29:18; 33:24; 35:5–6; 61:1–2; Ezekiel 34:16).”
“As a result, people will live extended life spans, just as people did before the Flood. A person who dies at the age of 100 will be considered to have died very prematurely (Isaiah 65:20).
UNIVERSAL WORSHIP OF GOD
All the inhabitants of the earth will join their hearts and voices to worship God and His Christ (Isaiah 45:23; 52:1,7–10; 66:17–23; Zephaniah 3:9; Zechariah 13:2; 14:16; Malachi 1:11; Revelation 5:9–14).
Worship during the Millennium will be centered in the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. This temple will be the fourth Jewish temple in Jerusalem (see question 12). The millennial temple will be built in Jerusalem after the third temple (the tribulation temple) is destroyed. The Bible never specifically states that the tribulation temple will be destroyed, but the fact that it is replaced with a much “larger temple during the Millennium demands that it no longer be in existence.
One important aspect of the worship in the Millennium is that animal sacrifices will be reinstituted in the millennial temple (Isaiah 56:6–7; 60:7; Ezekiel 43:18–27; 45:17–23; Zechariah 14:16–21).
These sacrifices will not be offered to take away sin, since no animal sacrifice can ever take away sin (Hebrews 10:1–2). Rather, these sacrifices will serve as a powerful memorial to the final sacrifice for sin, Jesus Christ. They will serve, like the Lord’s Supper today, as a vivid reminder of the holiness of God, the awfulness of sin, and the death the Savior died in our place.
ECONOMIC PROSPERITY
There won’t be any need for welfare programs, Social Security, food stamps, or relief “agencies in the Millennium. The world will flourish under the hand of the King of heaven. There will be abundance and plenty for all the inhabitants of the world (Isaiah 35:1–2, 7; 30:23–25; 62:8–9; 65:21–23; Jeremiah 31:5, 12; Ezekiel 34:26; 36:29–30; Joel 2:21–27; Amos 9:13–14; Micah 4:1, 4; Zechariah 8:11–12; 9:16–17).
THE PRESENCE OF GOD
The greatest thing about the kingdom is that Christ Himself will be there. God’s presence will be fully recognized and the Lord’s people will experience a kind of fellowship with the Lord unlike anything they have ever known (Ezekiel 37:27–28; Zechariah 2:10–13). The city of Jerusalem will be called Jehovah Shammah—“the Lord is there” (Ezekiel 48:35).”

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE END?
At the end of the seven-year Marriage Supper of the Lamb and the Tribulation (Revelation chapters 19 and 20)
Jesus will return again - The second coming
- We, as His Bride, will return with Him.
- He will defeat the Antichrist and false prophet, throwing them into the lake of fire.
- Satan will be bound and thrown into a bottomless pit for 1,000 years.
- Then Jesus will establish His millennial kingdom.
- He will be the Supreme Ruler on earth, and His people will rule and reign with Him. No one will be able to overthrow Him, and He will never need to be reelected.
At the end of that thousand years
- Satan will be loosed once again.
- Believers who have been reigning with Christ are immortal.
- However, Satan will gather the mortals who remain on earth to march on Jerusalem. The Bible says Satan will lead Gog and Magog, which are symbolic of the nations of the world, in a rebellion against Jesus. Their march to Jerusalem is really an attempt to kill Jesus once again.
- Jesus will then slay them all and commence with the Great White Throne Judgment, in which He will judge all of the dead from the very beginning of time.
- Then the heavens and the earth will be destroyed by fire, which is what Peter was writing about.
- God will create new heavens and a new earth. When He does, the New Jerusalem will descend from heaven. This city will be approximately 1,280 miles in length, breadth, and height (Revelation 21:16). This will be the place where we will live with Jesus for all eternity. It will be more wonderful than any of us can imagine.

Ten Marks of Revival

Over the last several decades there has been an enormous amount of scholarly attention to what have historically been called spiritual 'revivals.' These are periods in which there is an explosion of spiritual interest and growth in the Christian church. In Europe and North America, for example, there were significant revivals in the 1740s, the 1830s, and the late 1850s. The 1857 revival began in lower New York City and is often called 'the Fulton Street Revival.' By one account, during a period of about 2 years, about 10% of the population of Manhattan was converted and joined the city's churches. In the 20th century there have also been major revivals in East Africa, Korea, as well as many more localized revivals.
What causes revivals? The Spirit of God, of course—but can more be said? Indeed it can. Here are ten marks of revival, bundled together in three categories. I've distilled these over the years, both from studying the Bible example, Judges, particular Psalms, and the book of Acts), from reading church history, and from my own brief encounters with revivals personally.
Three instrumental means of revival.
The Holy Spirit is the ultimate cause of a revival, but there are three instrumental means (or 'secondary causes') that the Spirit ordinarily uses.
- First, there is always a recovery of the gospel. The default mode of the human heart is self-salvation and works righteousness, whether of a con- servative or a liberal variety. Revival always proceeds around a rediscovery of the wonder of grace, the radical nature of Christ's accomplishment of salvation on our behalf.
- Secondly, there is always corporate prayer— extraordinary, kingdom-centered, prevailing prayer across the ordinary walls that divide Christians.
- Third, however, there is creativity. No revival is just like the last one. For example, the Great Awakening was based on the innovation of itinerant preaching, including open air meetings. The 1857 revival, however, was based on lay-lead prayer meetings. In each generation, some new methods arise for getting out the gospel that fit the cultural moment.
Three parts of revival.
If the Spirit begins to bless these means, what does revival actually look like? There are at least three parts to it.
- First, nominal church members get converted. There are people who profess Christian beliefs, subscribe to Christian ethics, and are baptized members of the church. But during revivals many of these people come to realize that they have never experienced the new birth or truly understood the gospel.
- Second, sleepy Christians wake up to an immediate sense of God's love and presence. Another mark of revival is that, especially during corporate worship, everyone experiences the reality of God's presence in a way hitherto unknown to them. They begin to have direct experience of God's love that fills them with assurance and confidence. Because of this new love for God, Christians spend time in deep repentance for idols (Judges 10) which only enhances their joy.
- Third, non-believers outside the church are attracted to the Christian community in remarkable numbers. Because of the conversion of nominal members and the assurance of believers, the church community itself becomes beautified. Christians begin to reach out in love to their community in striking ways. The cold, tribal attitudes ordinarily present in non-revived churches melt away. Non-believers are drawn in and the church grows at an amazing speed.
Four results of revival.
If revival gets underway, there are usually four results or responses.
- First, there is always the excessive fringe of the revival. Instead of being humbled by the new sense of God in their lives, some people seem to get puffed up with pride. They become condemning of Christians not in their own party. Leaders become elevated to positions of power before they are ready and often experience highly publicized lapses. Sometimes out and out charlatans see their opportunity because of the gullibility and vulnerability of the newly converted, and put themselves into authority. Many doctrinal idiosyncrasies or outright heresies are countenanced, because spiritual experience has become the main standard of validity, not Biblical truth.
- Secondly, in response to the excessive fringe, there is a mainstream cultural backlash. The people in the leading cultural institutions find revivals frightening and vulgar. They usually fix their attention on the excesses and point it out to the rest of the world, saying, "See? There is where this revival stuff leads!"
- Thirdly, some conservative, traditional church leaders also attack the revival. This is partly due to warranted concern about the excesses as well as an overemphasis on experience and under- emphasis on the importance of the church. It is often also due to how jealous and threatened pastors can be when other ministries in their town are growing by leaps and bounds.
Despite all this, when a revival is broad and deep enough, there is a real impact on society. There have always been social reforms in the wake of revivals—the repeal of child labor laws, the abolition of slavery, a decrease in crime, improvements in the institution of marriage, and many other benefits.
Where is the revival?
Revival dynamics can be local, national or international. They can be intense and over soon, or they can be much slower moving and remain present at a low level for several years before subsiding. Is the USA Mentioned in scripture???
NOT REALLY BUT HERE IS WHAT PEOPLE LOOK AT:
“Three main passages of Scripture are used to support this idea.
- 1 The first passage is Isaiah 18:1–7. This chapter refers two times to a place “whose land the rivers divide.” Some scholars interpret this as a reference to the Mississippi River and the many other rivers that divide the United States. The nation is called “a people feared far and wide, / A powerful and oppressive nation” (v. 2). This is taken as a reference to the mighty military machine of the U.S. armed forces.
The problem with this view is that the passage itself identifies the nation being described: “Alas, oh land of whirring wings / Which lies beyond the rivers of Cush, / Which sends envoys by the sea, / Even in papyrus vessels on the surface of the waters” (v. 1). The nation referred to in this passage is the ancient kingdom of Cush (modern Sudan), not the United States.”
- 2 “The second passage is Ezekiel 38:13:
“Sheba and Dedan and the merchants, the young lions of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’ THE YOUNG LIONS some view as a reference to The United States.
Therefore, some view these young lions of Tarshish as a veiled reference to the United States.
While this view is certainly possible, the evidence seems too tenuous to make any certain statements about this being a reference to America.”
- 3 “A third passage that is often cited as referring to the United States is Revelation 17–18, in which “Babylon the Great” is discussed. Babylon is called “the great city” in Revelation 17, a fact that has led some to say that Babylon is a reference to New York City.
Having carefully examined the most frequently cited passages that are used to support the idea that America is mentioned in Bible prophecy, I have concluded that America is not mentioned PRECISELY in Bible prophecy.
However, this raises another interesting question: Why isn’t America mentioned in Bible prophecy? Israel is mentioned by name and most scholars believe that Europe is the reunited Roman empire of the last days. So why isn’t America mentioned?

America is not mentioned specifically because she will be destroyed by other nations. In other words, she will experience a fall from the outside before the end times.
Some feel we will be destroyed by Nuclear war…
Maybe, but 2 things:
FIRST - In the end times when Christ comes there will be drinking, partying, marriage, good times etc…
SECOND - For such a strong country to be destroyed in such an epic fashion one would think that it would be mentioned in scripture.
BUT IT IS A SLIM POSSIBILITY.
Option 3
America is not mentioned in Bible prophecy because she will have lost her influence as a result of moral and spiritual deterioration. She will experience a fall from the inside before the end times.
YOU KNOW WHY THESE IDEAS SCARE SOME OF US? BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD THE USA AS OUR SAVIOUR AND NOT JESUS!
Option 4 MARK AND GARTHS IDEAS
Fourth option that I feel best explains the silence concerning America in the Scriptures:
America will become a third-rate nation overnight
Consider this fact.
- If the Rapture were to happen today, the United States would probably lose more people per capita than anyother nation in the world.
- At the Rapture, the Islamic nations in the Middle East would feel almost no effect at all.
- The U.S. could become a third-world nation overnight.
**Millions of home mortgages would go unpaid,
****the stock market would crash,
**millions of productive workers would be suddenly removed from the workforce.
**Thousands of businesses would lose their owners, CEO’s, Who’s got the password?
- As our nation heats up with evil… it will awaken the church to actually RISE UP and cry out to God…
WE WILL SEE A HUGE REVIVAL
The Rapture will be God’s judgment on America.
Most will say “we needs Gods power”….
NO NO NO… First we need the church to wake up and seek God!
THE GREAT USA… is not our savior, it is not our hope.
The president, the political powers… not our hope!

According to Daniel 9, the Antichrist will execute a seven-year covenant with Israel. As I see it right now, I believe the terms of this deal will give half of the Temple Mount to the Jews in exchange for half of the city of Jerusalem, which is what the Palestinians and the United Nations have been demanding. This Scripture passage makes that very clear, and the rebuilt Temple will also leave room for the Dome of the Rock to remain.
2. The two witnesses written about in Revelation 11 will minister for the first half of the Tribulation on the Temple Mount. I will discuss them more in length later, but I believe these two men are Enoch and Elijah. God will send them as His own personal emissaries to preach the absolute truth of His Word and to judge His enemies. They will be hated by almost everyone. John writes:
And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven (Revelation 11:3–13).
3. The Antichrist will proclaim himself “God” there. He will enter the rebuilt Temple three and one-half years into the seven-year Tribulation, and there he will blaspheme God. This event will signal the Great Tribulation, which is the second half of the Tribulation. Daniel prophesied about this event in Daniel 9, and Jesus spoke of it in Matthew 24. John also writes:
And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven (Revelation 13:5–6).
4. Jesus will return with us and establish His millennial throne in the Temple on the Temple Mount. The prophet Zechariah writes about this event:
Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the LORD my God will come, And all the saints with You.
It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish. It shall be one day
Which is known to the LORD— Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.
And in that day it shall be
That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea
And half of them toward the western sea;
In both summer and winter it shall occur.
And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”
And His name one (Zechariah 14:3–9).
The apostle John then writes this parallel text about the same event:
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army (Revelation 19:11–19).
This final event ends human history as we know it and ushers in the one-thousand-year rule of Christ. The Church, the bride of Christ, will rule and reign with Him during this time. Jesus will rule the earth from the Temple Mount. I remind you again that the Temple Mount is ground zero for human history. And the start of these events is falling into place right now. It is in the news daily and continues to intensify.
And it is more proof that our God is in control and our Bible tells the future in advance. For believers, the future couldn’t be brighter. We will not be here for the horrific events that will happen during the Tribulation. We will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb with Jesus. And we will be at His side as He returns to rule the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

#1 FESTERING SORES

At this point if you have stored up water you will be hunted down and killed for it.
Water all through out scripture is symbolic of Gods spirit. You reject Gods spirit and you get death.
NOW REV. 16:5-7 There is a praise break. A refrain of sorts in heaven.
YOU HAVE GIVEN THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY DESERVE. THEY WANTED THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS… those who did not take the mark of the beast… THEY GOT BLOOD.
God is stating here… I was merciful, patient, kind, long suffering, loving, gracious… but you rejected me so now JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL.
TRUMPET #4 The sun scorches the earth.
At this point people of the earth curse God… they finally realize these plagues are from God… and still do not repent!
Trumpet #5 Complete darkness
Trumpet #6 The Euphrates river drys up.
God is now preparing a way for the army of the ungodly to come to the valley of Armageddon.
Trumpet #7 An angel cries out it is done.
And the most severe earthquake ever seen comes across the world. 100lb hailstones crush earth and kill people… it is so severe of a hailstorm it is called a plague of hail in scripture.
Why will the armies come on foot through the Euphrates river?
Well I believe that most of the modern warfare technology will have been destroyed at this point.
They will march through the Euphrates and capture half of Jerusalem… it will be ugly for a short while for Jerusalem.
Behold, a day is coming for the LORD when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem . . . Zechariah 14:1-4a (NASB)
Rev. 19 Jesus and we his Bride come down with him. he is on a white horse, we are all on white horses… and we wage war with him.
He captures the beast and the false prophet and throws the alive into a burning lake of sulphur to be killed.
He then calls the birds of the air to come and feast literally gorge themselves on the dead that are killed by him.
God then locks up Satan and his demonic forces for 1000 years. The Millennium!
