Omnipresence means there is no place to which God's knowledge and power do not extend.
So God’s omnipotence and omniscience imply his omnipresence.
He is everywhere in time, before time and after time ends. He is in your dreams, visions, plans, thoughts… he is everywhere.
His omnipresence is a presence both in place and in time. Psalm 139 indicates that God is present in every place. He is the creator of the heavens and the earth, and so he is in every location. He is also the creator of time,2 the one without beginning or end. So he has been present in the world since its creation, and there will never be a time from which he is absent. In Scripture, he freely enters history and interacts with creatures. Supremely, he entered human history in Jesus Christ, where he died and rose again to save us from our sins.
The beauty of Gods omnipresence is that he knew us when we were sinners. He was there when we were sinning even before we were born - he was there - because he is everywhere… even in the future that has not happened yet to us. In fact he is right now with you when you sin in the future… but here is the amazing thing about his redemption… even though he is everywhere, knows everything and is all powerful he still chose to die for our sins (even those who will not receive his redemption)… this ought to make you revel in your God. He chose to be there and forgive you even before you do it.
The key to fully understanding these attributes (as best we can) is know that they all intertwine. This is the ULTIMATE trifecta.
As it has been said “God is simple… he just happens to incomprehensible”. Take in the fact that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all separate, all one and all 3 are Omni in all ways.
Knowing this it means we are never alone, we can reach out to him when we are afraid, tempted, lost, in question or needing reassurance. He’s always there… have I mentioned that yet?
But to fully blow your mind… remember God is everywhere, always, with everyone past, present future, now and eternity all at the same time.
What an amazing God we serve!
God is omnipresent, you and I are never alone. Jesus Christ promises to be with us always and everywhere (Matthew 28:18-20).

Omniscience All knowledge… God is knowledge. God knows everything because he is everything. He is all.
God’s knowledge is unlimited. Why? Because God is knowledge and he is unlimited. Knowing that God is omniscient should allow us to trust His will, His Word, and His timing. Though we don’t know all the answers, God does.
In Job 37:16, Elihu asked Job if he knew “the wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?” In this verse The Hebrew word “Taman,” translated in this verse to “perfect,” does mean perfect, but it also means complete, finished, whole, not lacking anything.
I don’t know much… but what I do know is I don’t know everything. If Gods knowledge is perfect, complete, finished, whole, not lacking anything. Than that means I am imperfect, incomplete unfinished, lacking and definitely not whole in my understanding.
Isn’t it amazing that every science is always discovering new truths, new knowledge… it is inexhaustible - and so is God.
“…God is greater than our heart, and He knows everything.” 1 John 3:20
Before we even say a word in prayer, God knows what we need. When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, He said, your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” Matthew 6:8
Now that is knowledge!
Have you ever visited a house that was designed, and built by the person living in it? They know everything about it. God lives in us and guess what? he knows everything about us. We should be reassured going to him in prayer because he knows what is going on inside our hearts and minds and bodies.
How complete is Gods knowledge?
God Knows the Past, Present, and Future. In fact this should blow your mind… he knows all that is within the bounds of time and eternity.
When someone operates in the prophetic it is simply just God revealing what he already knows in the future. It is not a supernatural miracle… it is just God knowing all and letting us in on it.
Finally… God knows everything… so he sees us - yep that can scare you or calm you. “Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.” Psalm 147:5
“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3
“Lord, you have searched me and know me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.” Psalm 139:1-3
So god you know all… please keep me aware of this and remind me to ask you when I am weak, tempted, doubting and even angry…
God’s Omniscience Allows Us to Trust Him
Because God knows everything we can fully trust him! What can sometimes cause us to doubt Gods knowledge? Pain, suffering, hurt, anger… don’t fall into that trap. Rather focus on God knowing how he will use this in your life and to glorify him. Trust the fact that he knows it all! So you don’t have to!
God Gives Us Wisdom
Look at some of the bad decisions in the bible. It happened when people did not know what to do and they did not stop to ask God. From Adam and Eve to Abraham to Peter.
John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
When we seek knowledge god will lead us to him!

God is omnipotent - it does not mean all powerful… it means all power. There is a difference. All powerful states that he has all the power to use at his discretion. When in truth he is power… it is like saying i am all Garth and I am Garth. One states that I have attributes like Garth - i have all the attributes of Garth… the other states that I am Garth. Get it?
Well let me help you out some more… or confuse you more.
God is not just all power, he is all mercy, all love, all justice, all grace, all hope, all peace… it is who he is.
Why does God love you… you can’t do anything… he does because that is who he is.
So God is all powerful… if that is true then why so much pain, suffering, injustice, wars, famines, disease etc…
Well because of 2 reasons; And I will make it simple- we were given all power on this earth (or at least Adam and Eve were) but they forfeited that power when they sinned. They in fact broke a simple little law and by doing so handed earth over to sin and it’s master - the devil. Secondly the enemy comes to steal kill and destroy and we in our human free will many times work along with him.
So what good does it do us if God is all powerful but does not use that power to make things right. Well first off he allows man to prove that he is in fact a fallen sinful evil being in need of Gods forgiveness. God could wield his power and make everyone worship him and make everyone be a good boy and girl… but then would it truly be love? Or just manipulation via power.
But in the end God does show off his power. Like we stated in our end times series. God does come back at the second coming and in fact sets things straight. He overcomes satan, sin and demons and all those that have rejected the truth and sends them to hell. He once and for all in his power (again who he is) destroys all darkness.
That is what is so amazing about God the omnipotent.

The term “atheism” is a word composed of two parts: “a-” which means “without,” and “theos,” which means “god.” Thus, any argument against atheism (without God) will be an argument for theism (God).
When you argue or speak with an atheist many times it spirals off into conversations such as “well if there is a God why does he allow suffering, disease, pain etc…”
This in itself shows an incredible DNA pattern in humans… we deeply believe in a God, we just cant always reconcile our understanding or perception of him so we choose not to believe in the existence of one.
I met a man who once said “I have no father”. It wasn’t simply that he was raised with no father in the household… he hated his father. He disowned him, physically, socially, emotionally (debatable) and geographically. But he does have a Dad, however the hate he has towards him causes him to deny his existence. This many times is the background to some of the greatest atheists that we have seen through the ages.
Others choose not to believe in a God because it excuses their behavior. Without a God, there is only my ideals, my choices and my consequences and rewards. I am not accountable to anybody. When speaking to someone like this (who may not even see the bend in their reasoning towards this) I simply ask them if they lock their doors at night? So choosing not to believe in a God in reality our actions by locking our door is saying there must be some moral order in the world… If it was simply ok to not believe in a God and just worry about myself I would not care if anyone with the same mentality ripped me off, raped, maimed, killed etc… We can at least ask this person… so you don’t believe in God… but you would agree that there should be one that helped ran morality… in arguing this way you at least get them thinking and opening doors they may have closed due to argumentative Christians.
Atheists - you can’t know everything,
You don’t know him and I do.
Your word is no greater than my word.
The Holy Spirit will work on the backend.
Ultimately the best argument is living for God. ThEE God. We can argue over which is the best basketball team… but you really truly cheer for the best basketball team then it serves me well to take you to a game and let you see for yourself.
I truly serve a living, loving incredible God who gives me purpose, life, power and peace. When an atheist sees this they are drawn to it… and here is the secret they may never tell you.
So a few years back I had a friend I met at the gym. He was an atheist… we would have fun and sometimes intense conversations (and to be honest, it was more him than me that got heated) But for 2 years he never caved, he never batted an eye… to him there was no God. It was an impossible ideal in which to believe in. One day I get a text from him… it says the following “you know I don’t believe in God and I have always respected you for your views and not turning your back on me… so today I found out my Dad has cancer. I guess it is better to be safe than sorry, so I am asking if you could ask your God (if there is one) if he could help my old man out”.
You win an atheist over one loving conversation at a time. It does not come down to a debate, an act of a greater ability to mental gymnastics… it comes down to this…
When you can look her in the eye and say “I talked to God today…” and they know in their heart of hearts you speak the truth!

The goal is to be so intimately in love with Jesus and his word that when things come against us that are contrary to either - we become incensed, lit, upset with a Holy Anger!
Someone doesn’t know God it should cause you to tear the heavens open calling on Gods love and conviction to rain on them like tsunami.
Someone has an illness, sickness, disease and you are chomping at the bit to make God famous by praying and seeing that person healed. You are so amped you walk up to the person unannounced and tell them “we gotta pray now”.
True story… I was visiting with a youth pastor who’s name escapes me…. but he was at a large church. When we got there he said he would be praying for a girl who was just raped and now pregnant (a teenage girl) He was so excited and joyful… I asked him why and he said without flinching “God is going to Rock this girls world and make this an amazing testimony - he is going to give her peace, power and his presence to take this on and make God look good”.

You are at home and a pipe bursts sending water all over the place. It may ruin the floor, but its also costing you money on your water bill and you have to pay to fix it. It requires immediate action… not really. Many of us have bursting pipes causing water to go all over the place, rotting floors and costing us hundreds in our water bill and the cost of fixing it AND WE DO NOTHING ABOUT IT…
The problem is that the bursting pipe is in slow motion and looks a lot like a leaking pipe… yes actually it is a leaking pipe… We can put it off, no real emergency - YET!
This ties into the idea behind Murphy’s law. You know what that is, but just in case you have been beamed to earth from another planet - it simply states anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
The truth is - honestly that this is factual. What do I mean by that? Well it is based on the 2nd law of thermodynamics… all things breakdown. Essentially all things must be tended to or they get worse.
Bill Toomey American gold medalist in the Decatholon not only took the gold but he prepared to take the Gold in any condition. He did his homework and after studying years of research on the Olympics and the decathlon event he realized that during many Olympics it rained and even rained during his event. Everyone hoped and prayed it would not rain… but no one except him prepared and practiced in the rain. In fact he learned to love to practice in the rain. And guess what happened during the decathlon… it rained. Toomey practiced like normal and was actually chomping at the mouth to take on each event…
He learned to not waste time, think through any obstacle before it ever happened and to in a sense prepare for the worst and execute anyway.
he never let the drip become a tsunami… he dealt with every issue before it happened.
you know John Wooden the greatest college basketball coach ever used to teach his incoming freshmen how to tie their shoes? He didn’t overlook anything.
So you get up in the morning… you hit snooze, you then have to pick out your clothes, then grab quick bite out the door to work or you stop and pay $9 at the convenient store for 2 monsters and a bagel sandwich… On the way to work you start to think through what you are doing that day…
What a waste.
Before bed each night, you put your alarm clock out in the hallway so when you get up you are up. You have already picked out your clothes, put them by your bed, you have already packed your breakfast and your lunch. You sat in bed and looked over your calendar and day for tomorrow and you have put a few thoughts into it. This whole routine takes 20 minutes and buys you an hour in the morning and greater productivity.
Col. 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
I have an idea that if you were working for Jesus tomorrow and he was in the office you would plan out the day quite a bit differently and you wouldn’t wait until the last minute. so why not start now… make the most of every moment, plan ahead, plan for the worst and expect the best as you work as unto the Lord.

Beethoven… what an interesting life… even if his music didn’t stir you there is a lot to learn about him - so lets do some digging and hang on because we will make it worth your while.
He started composing at the age of 12, he even wrote a song for dead poodle.
He had many love affairs but was never married… due to his early deafness he became quite cranky and I am sure that limited his options in women.
He was the Eddie Van Halen of his day.
He was a musical revolutionary.
The era of Viennese Classicism came to an end with Beethoven. The composer with the wild mop of hair was considered a musical revolutionary and a pioneer of Romanticism. He wrote a choir into his Symphony No. 9 - that had never been done before.
He became known for his dramaturgical compositions and, instead of long motifs, he preferred short ones which were easier to recognize, as the opening of his famous Fifth Symphony illustrates.
Beethoven composed some 240 works, including symphonies, piano concertos, string quartets, and one opera.
He started to go deaf in his late 20’s and was completely deaf by age 48. But he had perfect pitch and could imagine the harmonies of notes in his head and write accordingly.
He was a perfectionist… he would rework a piece of music hundreds of times until he thought it could get no better.
Less was more…. Dum dum dum Daaaa only had 4 notes but is the most recognizable piece of classical music still today. He only wrote 9 symphonies but they were so majestic that other composers didn’t even try while he was alive.
The final movement in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony is the most famous, as it served as the musical setting for Friedrich Schiller's poem "Ode to Joy." Beethoven was already deaf when he wrote it. The night he played it for the first time The composer could not hear the frenetic applause when the symphony premiered on May 7, 1824.
Someone had to come out and turn him to the audience for him to understand how amazing it was.
There is the lesson. He many things stacked against him… but he did not do it for the applause or accolades. You- yes you the one listening. Keep doing what you are doing for God, you may have some things stacked against you and you may not hear the angels clapping in heaven, but they are… and when you die you will soon enough hear them.
1 Peter 5:5, 6 Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
Now is not the proper time for recognition - so don’t waste time trying to gain it. Just keep your head down… yeah thats right praying, and keep your head down doing and know that he is God and he will anoint, appoint and reward you!

Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
In todays world it’s not enough to just learn from your mistakes… you gotta be willing and ready to learn from others mistakes.
So here are my top five mistakes from the past that are I think most important to pass on to all of you!
THIS FIRST ONE IS #1 FOR A REASON!
- 1 Focusing on the past.
Jesus died while we were yet sinners. that means he knows we will make mistakes and he will not hold it against us… so why should we. Jesus saw the past in the future…. that should blow your mind! and yet he still died for our sins. So don’t let the past dictate your emotions, your state of mind, your self worth, your goals, your choices for today.
Choose to say Jesus forgive me, teach me, humble me and move on. It really is that simple.
2- A Portion for you:
Monday’s are study time, my sacred scripture, sermons, prayer, worship, journal, devotional time. I write, think, write, think, reflect on good things. I give my spirit time to breathe. Because Sundays are not really a time of feeding my soul and spirit - because I am providing that for others on a Sunday… I have to make sure I have my own Sunday, but on Monday.
Fridays are my date day. So my wife and I have a regular habit of going to the book store. I grab about 20 magazines: Psychology today, wired, Entrepreneur, Muscular digest, The economist, DuPont Registry, Recoil, Fast company, Guitar world, Forbes, Fortune and more… many more. I grab about 15 books. and then a good cup of coffee. This process picking out my stuff is about 1 hour… We are there for about 4-5 hours (I know such an exciting life) we eat some stuff from their bakery, talk, share what we are reading and thinking, I journal, take notes… Its my portion just for my mind, and heart and marriage.
Now you might say… sounds like you take 2 days just for yourself. Absolutely and without apology. I work Saturdays and Sundays unlike most men. And I teach twice a week, preach once a week minimum, and write and teach a podcast 5 times a week. I need maximum input in order to put out quality output. And more importantly to keep my heart, mind soul and spirit full and overflowing!
3 - Who you with?
I must take time to be with a few people every week. Some make me laugh, some make me think, some teach me, some encourage me, some challenge me… but they are all at areas that are above me in some way shape or form. Oh and they are not all christians.
I don’t have time for negative or needy people. do I love them and serve them… of course, but I don’t make time for them. My calendar is for those who will make me a better me. Let me clarify… if you are needy or negative and want some of my time, you will get a little for a short while… but when I pull out my calendar it is to connect with those in greater positions than myself.
A wise man once said “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”. That Man was Jim Rhon… he was pretty successful, if you consider millions of dollars and millions of lives impacted.
OH AND HOW TRUE!
So the question is not who you are hanging with, but who SHOULD YOU be hanging with.
cut out the riff-raff and pump in the quality. If you can’t find quality people because you live on an island or in a cave - then hang with them in books, videos and seminars.
- 4 Time to align
You must weekly take time to align your life, past, future, thought life, family, marriage and health with scripture. What does scripture say about each of these and are you living accordingly… are you letting satan and a sinful world push you around and conform you to its mold or are all these areas being transformed by your faith in the word of god.
It is so easy to watch someone on youtube or hear a speaker and believe that they have it all figured out… Not if it doesn’t ring true with scripture. Look there are business moguls that I watch regularly, they are wicked smart and I learn a lot, but when it comes down to the reality of my life… it better line up with scripture or it is a waste of time.
If you are a duck quit acting like an eagle, if you are an eagle quit trying to be a lion and if you are a lion start acting like one. You find meaning and purpose according to what scripture says you are, to what God calls you to do and with his power in you to do it.
I am sooo happy in who I am. I pastor a small church, I am building a business and a ministry that may or may not become anything… but I know I am in the center of Gods will and that makes my life FANTASTIC.

We live in a toxic world. Let me define toxic for you in todays world. It doesn’t start out as poison… you ever see a bay that is filled with garbage? Plastic bottles, wrappers, pop cans, garbage bags, old netting, a tennis shoe, deflated volleyball etc… none of those things are bad or dangerous in and of themselves… but when they become excess and so much so that they are thrown around and thrown out carelessly they end up being toxic. So is social media.
Is the guy pushing his “how to make a 6 figure income toxic… not really except you put that with 7 add’s of what you need, 4 adds of what you are not, 8 adds of what you should get to feel happy and thin… along with all the pictures and videos of what you are not and what your life does not match up to… it becomes toxic by excess.
You must be willing to turn it all off for a few hours a day.
Vitamins are good, but too many at once and they become toxic. Social media is fine in very small doses. I can really only stay on one site for more than a few minutes and that is pinterest. I get to choose what I want on my pinterest page… and its motivational quotes, lifting, cars, guns knives, boats and nutrition, bible verses - thats about it.
You will be blown away at how much clearer you will think, act and produce simply by cutting out 99% of your social media - including email.

Ignore bullies and they will quit picking on you… Do you understand what bullies do? they pick on those who are off the radar. People who get picked on by bullies are primarily already ignoring them even before they get bullied.
Ministry comes first, before family… The last pastor I worked for who preached that said “if you put God first over before your family he will watch over them”…. and he was right, God watched his family fall apart. A daughter in prostitution, a daughter who was a maniacal liar and thief, a son who was suing his sisters, another son who wants nothing to do with the other siblings oh…and they are all backslidden.
Don’t turn your back on them… don’t give up on them, they will change. Leave them, run, take off NOW! If you are married and they are abusing you- go now. If they are a friend and they are destructive to your emotional well being, you are better off taking care of yourself until they cannot shake your self identity.

Funny story, I am at my local bank. They lost a $10,000 cashiers check… which meant The owner can’t recut it and I can’t trace it. I get a little testy with the “banker” and then I get the manager… in the middle of the conversation I ask them “when I call my good friend whom I have known for 35 years (Rickety splits) who do I tell them to fire? You are you?
Neither of them know who I am talking about… I tell them to google this individual along with their bank name… as I am testing him… He calls me… they realize the “uh oh”.
I have another friend I called when i was struggling in a dry time with God. He asked me if I ever wrestled with my boys… I said yeah all the time. He said why- you can win right? I laughed and said “yes, I can beat up my 7 and 9 year old”.
So why wrestle with them- he asked again.
Fun, laughter, bonding, connection, stories…
He said thats all you’re doing with God… its not a dry time, you are just wrestling with him… can God win? Of course, but that’s not the point, it is to connect, laugh, bond, tell stories…
BOOM my whole perspective changed.
I have friends with Good advice.
Here is my best advice to you regarding best advice…
Invest into friends who give you great advice… do it now before you have to ask them for advice.
Invest in them and they will always be there for you.

Noah builds an Ark. Everyone thought it was in vain… but not to Noah. What we build here at HillSpring some might think is in vain, they might doubt our ability, our mission or even our ability to make a difference… but we labor not in vain, but in the Lord.
