I read about a Captain of a war ship in WWII and whenever the Chief mate would come to him with terrible news the Captain would put his pipe in his mouth and say to one of the Lieutenant’s would you please make bring me a cup of tea. 

He knew his first response would set the tone to the whole crew.

I don’t have to beg a king, I don’t have to pray, or wish or hope or coerce or cry and whine… I simply understand the kings word is law- he expects me to live by it, and I expect him to honor it.

He will give us the keys to the Kingdom
