Todays podcast isn’t for everybody… look there are lots of people out there who just refuse to think for themselves… they want to be told what to do, what to think, who to believe, what is right what is wrong and simply just want life made simple… this is not for you. This is for the person who refused to just swallow whatever anyone shoves at them. You like to challenge people, you like to challenge the current thought trend and the current media bias and belief. You don’t care what people think… Then you are listening to the right podcast. 

So you may think this is you… but honestly its probably just for a few people today… maybe only 5 out of the thousands who listen to it. Because many of us think we like to think for ourselves and many of us think we don’t mind getting picked on for pushing back on the trend of thought… but very very very few actually thrive on it. 

 

The proof is in the pudding. 

Professors - teaching in areas they have never succeeded in. 

People who work for your local state or government telling you how to run your business and they have never started anything in their life. 

Whiners  telling you how unfair a particular are of life is but have never sacrificed, worked 80 hours a week or even went all in on a goal.

Politicians - who are lifers who have never had a real job. 

The rich… from inheritance

Even the proven… on luck

 

I was in a store years ago and someone ended up talking to a kid who worked there who was into guitar… we were talking about guitarists we love - I mention one and he gives me a word for word description of why this guy sucked and he actually quoted word for word out of guitar one magazine… I was like DUDE, do you have an original thought? 

 

In Mark chapter 11 the pharisees question where He gets his authority to do these things… they want to know how come you think your special… we are the special ones. So Jesus says “riddle me this batman”… ok not really, but he says tell me was Johns authority from man or God…. Well well well… one of the few times the religious leaders were speechless… they said we don’t know. Right! So I will not answer you nor listen to you. 

Jesus is saying why should I listen to you… you only have a portion, you have not proven yourself nor do you have any real power. 

I will listen to those who are proven in multiple areas of their life before I give them the honor of my time, money, or even mind space. You do the same… but again I am probably only speaking to about 5 of you.
