3. Satans Goal Is To Destroy Us and cause us to doubt Christ.

Satan has power - more then we realize, but even a greater strategy then power… I don’t dwell on his power, because greater is he that is in me, then the power of this world…
However
A similar problem comes when Christians underestimate the power of our enemy. While we don’t want to give him more power than he really has, we make a huge mistake if we think he and his demonic army have no power at all… and more importantly we underestimate his strategy.
1 Peter 5:8
Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.
Satan is a present reality in our lives whether we like it or not. He wants nothing more than to destroy our faith, take away our credibility, and lead us to stumble into sin. We have to be prepared for his attacks, and we need to show him some level of respect as far as his abilities are concerned.
That respect is in knowing his strategies and preparing for them.
Again we have a greater power in us… but if we are not aware of his strategy we will lose ground in our fight!
What is his strategy?
He is the father of lies.
He started in the garden of eden with lies…
He works on your body through your lies.
He works on your finances through your lies.
He works on your relationships through your lies.
He works on your faith through your lies.
THEREFORE we must have the mind of Christ.
Jesus said “I am the truth, the way and the life”
TALK ABOUT POLAR OPPOSITES!
You must know the word of God and you must be ready to respond in the same way Christ does in the desert… speaking the word of God.
If you can rule your mind by Gods word you will win the fight. This past week I have been challenged financially, relationally, and with my wives health.
If i just let any thought take up residence in my mind I would be broke, divorced, sick and DESTITUTE.
The mind is the battleground - its an invisible war, a spiritual war but mark my words… a winnable war through Christ.
