These next few days I am going to challenge everything you have ever thought you knew about faith. But the kicker will come at the end when I fully disclose what faith is… Don’t miss an episode! I promise it will rock your world. 

 

 

 

Maybe you have been at a place in your life where you are wondering about your Xn walk… is it worth it, is it just not for me, why does it not work… 

 

Hebrews was written at a time when many Christians were considering abandoning their faith.

 

 

Faith is a good thing… I have never heard anyone (wether they have a clear understanding of faith or not) take a stand against it. 

If faith moves mountains we better learn how to get faith

If faith heals, pleases God, works miracles… we better learn how to get faith

IF WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH… we better learn how to get faith

 

INTRO

What faith is not.

 - Faith is not positive thinking, but there is a positive element to faith. 

 - Faith is not a hunch, but one may feel an inclination

 - Faith is not simply hoping, but faith expects the best from God. 

 - Faith is not optimism, but it does make one optimistic.   Faith, according to the Bible, is the human response to divine revelation. It is trusting the God who has revealed Himself in Holy Scripture. It is taking God at His word. 

Faith is simply acting like God is telling the truth. 

 

 

HOW IMPORTANT IS FAITH

Rom. 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

 

Galatians 3:11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

 

Heb. 10:38 

but my righteous one shall live by faith,

    and if he shrinks back,

my soul has no pleasure in him.”

 

 

Hebrews 11:6

6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

 

As the end times become closer Faith will become become 

in short order. 

Luke 18:8 I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
