My media channels all go to Garth Heckman starting today… Today I uploaded a clip of me unloading a 30 round mag in my new Glock 19X and then add some flavor to it with another weapon thrown in…
Text me 30 second interviews of you asking people “whats it take to be a man” (and send me yours as well) Please let people know this is not a gender question… just simply in each persons mind we have a simple theory of what it takes to be a man… I will post them on all my social meads channels… hey I would love to hear from women as well. There are no right or wrong answers… and I don’t just want christian men, so if a guy cusses we will edit it out if its really bad.
INtro: Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV)
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”
Now is the time Slayer!
5 Things Every Christian Entrepreneur Should Know
As a Christian entrepreneur, your faith can provide a strong foundation for your business endeavors. Here are 5 essential things to keep in mind:
- God's Sovereignty: Recognize that God is ultimately in control of your business. Trust in His plan and seek His guidance in every decision.
But don’t misplace handwork with faith. I have put on dozens of Permit to carry classes and we have had over almost 2000 people come in the last 5 years… We prayed over the events, we called out in faith what we believe and expected to happen… but I also worked my butt off. Working on social media posts, handing out posters, building teams, answering thousands of emails, dealing with the haters and the skeptics, building a budget, raising money etc…
It takes hard work! Period… James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
- Ethical Business Practices: Align your business practices with biblical principles of honesty, integrity, and fairness. This can build trust with customers and partners.
God cannot bless tilted scales… what do I mean by that? If you are trying to fudge, stretch the truth, lie, manipulate, take shortcuts, cut back on Quality, over promise and under deliver… God won’t bless that.
- Generosity and Giving Back: Use your business as a platform to give back to your community and support charitable causes. This can be a powerful way to make a positive impact.
You really want to see your business take off? Tithe on what you make. If my business makes $500 each month, I am tithing $50 to a church or ministry.
God cannot bless seed that you do not sow… when you are hurting is the best time to sow.
- Work-Life Balance: Prioritize your relationship with God, family, and friends. A strong support system can help you navigate the challenges and stresses of entrepreneurship.
Look, if your business keeps you so busy that you can’t keep your quite time with him, your reading and prayer time… it’s probably best your business dies so you have more time to spend with him.
Start ups are a million miles a second and that’s when they are struggling… so if you don’t practice that discipline now, you won’t when you become successful.
- Seek Wisdom and Guidance: Continuously seek guidance from God and wise mentors. This can help you make informed decisions and avoid common pitfalls.
Remember, your faith can be a source of strength, inspiration, and purpose as you build your business.
